I spent years building products inside two of the fastest-scaling companies in the world — Uber and Instacart — before either of them went public. The core of that work was always the same three questions: Do people actually want this? Can we actually deliver it? Does the math actually work?
Those questions — Customer Reality, Delivery Reality, Business Reality — are the Operator Triangle. And they work just as well on a paving company, a real estate agency, or a climbing gym as they do on a $50B platform.
